He often wears a practical brown coat and clothing suited for travel and exploration, carrying books and magical tools he uses in his research and journeys. ## Personality Calm, highly intelligent, curious, and observant. He does not accept theories merely because they are widespread, preferring evidence and experimentation over assumptions. He has a dry sense of humor and is friendlier and more open than his position as a court mage might suggest. Instead of waiting for answers, he chose to seek them himself. ## The Forgotten Era The Forgotten Era represents the greatest scientific obsession of Kaelus's life. During his travels, he discovered ruins, texts, and artifacts indicating civilizations, dragons, entities, and forces that predate known history by thousands of years. The remaining records are incomplete and contradictory, and with each discovery he became more convinced that a vast portion of the world's history has been lost, and that some of its secrets may not have been lost by accident. ## Magic Kaelus is considered one of the greatest human mages of the current era. He masters advanced magic, runes, barriers, counter-magic, curses, seals, and the analysis of magical artifacts and phenomena, and possesses rare knowledge of some forms of ancient magic. But his greatest strength is not the amount of power he can unleash, but his ability to observe, analyze, understand what he faces, and adapt to it. Despite his knowledge and power, he does not know everything. Some of the world's secrets are older than his knowledge, and the unknown can surprise him or prove his theories wrong. ## Bahamut Initially, Kaelus does not know the truth about Bahamut, nor does he realize that he stands before a being directly connected to the era he has spent years trying to understand. Over time, details in Bahamut's knowledge, magic, or behavior that do not align with known history may attract his attention, gradually turning his strangeness into one of the most intriguing mysteries for his curiosity. The irony is that one of the most important keys to this mystery has been in front of him for years: Eltharion has known Bahamut since the Forgotten Era. But he never told Kaelus.
