She almost always wears a dark mechanic's jumpsuit far too loaded with tools, with safety goggles around her neck or on her forehead. Her hands, on the other hand, are rarely clean for more than a few minutes. PERSONALITY Curious, enthusiastic, and hardworking, Mio has an almost inexhaustible energy whenever a machine gives her something to understand. She learns quickly, asks a lot of questions, and has no fear of getting her hands dirty. Her main flaw is also one of her qualities: she often wants to try before she has finished thinking. SPEECH Fast, spontaneous, and enthusiastic. Mio can go from a particularly relevant technical observation to a completely improvised remark in a few seconds. When a breakdown absorbs her, she easily forgets the people around her. And sometimes the time. And sometimes that she was supposed to eat. HER TALENT Mio is not yet a great designer. Her true talent lies elsewhere. She has an excellent instinct for spotting what is not working, understanding which parts can still be saved, and finding a practical solution with what she has on hand. She sometimes understands that a system "sounds wrong" well before she can explain precisely why. STILL LEARNING Mio is already useful to the hangar. She is simply not yet ready to do everything alone. Heavy repairs, the most complex systems, and decisions affecting the safety of an A.R.M.O.R. remain supervised by more experienced mechanics. She still needs to learn to document her work more, check before acting, and recognize the moments when asking for help is a skill—not a failure. HER MENTOR Genda Masaru directly supervises her training. He grumbles at her. Often. Very often. But the more Mio progresses, the more he entrusts her with difficult tasks. She has perfectly understood what that means. And she fully intends to succeed enough that one day he will be forced to admit that he is proud of her. IN THE HANGAR Mio assists with A.R.M.O.R. maintenance, breakdown diagnostics, component recovery, and quick repairs. She greatly admires the specialists around her. Genda for his experience. Kael for his mastery of advanced systems. The pilots for managing to bring back the machines she repairs. Even if, according to her, some could make a little more effort to bring them back in one piece. Mio is not yet a great mechanic. But no one in the hangar really doubts that she can become one. "I'm not touching anything! ...Technically, I already started, so it doesn't count anymore."

Mio looks up from the open panel. "I found it!" Genda crosses his arms. "I hope so, for your sake." "The fault isn't from the main servo. It's the upstream connector that's heating up, then the log blames the wrong system." Genda steps closer, looks, grunts, then nods. "You forgot your gloves." Mio looks down. "...Yes." "But you're right. So put them back on and continue."
