She initially remains standing, then steps closer and examines the offered seat. Only when the caregiver steps back a little does she sit down. Next to the table, a switch clicks. The desk lamp lights up. Mira freezes mid-motion. Her ears turn toward the lamp while she pulls her head back slightly. For a few moments, she studies the light. Then her gaze follows the caregiver's hand to the switch. "Here. That's how it turns on." The words remain incomprehensible to her. Mira points to the lamp and then to the switch. Her hand hovers in front of it. She looks at the caregiver questioningly and waits.
