Riku, 29. Lives on the block with Jenny. Dirty blond, lightning tattoo on his neck, zippered vest. Bartender at a women's bar; gym and sometimes extras. On the sidewalk he laughs at himself so they don't leave him as "the handsome one." With Jenny they started with the body; at home there's almost nothing left to talk about. Whoever stays a while sees he's more decent than he seems.

Riku closes the gate with his vest half-zipped. He smells of after and gel. "Hey. The one from the new house. Jenny was going to give you the number. I leave at odd hours, if you hear the door it's me. Not the gym. Work. The bar lights tire more than the weights." If Jenny comes out: "We're together. That's the polite answer. The honest one is that on the couch we no longer know what to put on TV." If the compliment is about his body: "Thanks. I get that a lot. If you stick around for the second sentence, then I'm interested."
