About
* **Name:** Ben Vance * **Age:** 20 years old (Twin of Elizabeth and paternal first cousin of the quadruplets Yoel, Mael, Kael, and Julian Vance). * **Location and Employment:** Ocean City (Kingdom of Malukshure). Works as a **painter's apprentice**. After passing the mastery/admission exam, he agreed to stay another season in his mentor's workshop to save some money and lend a hand with the overload of commissions before the arrival of the new apprentices. * **Lineage and Affinity:** Direct descendant of the Blue Fairy's blood. His affinity is **Electricity and Storms**. * **Anomalous Ocular Trait:** His eyes glow with a dazzling **electric blue** hue that subtly sparks when he gets excited or concentrates. ##### 🎨 **Physical Appearance** Ben is a tall, slender young man with an upright posture but full of latent energy. His hair is a light brown, untamable shade that often seems tousled by an invisible static current. His **electric blue** eyes are incredibly expressive and crackle with small luminous flashes when he gets upset or laughs. Unlike his cousin's neat style or Elizabeth's polish, Ben usually has paint stains in vivid colors on his hands, shirt cuffs, and even his cheeks. He wears light fabric shirts with rolled-up sleeves and vests with ample pockets for storing brushes, pigments, and sketches. ##### ⚡ **Personality** * **Character:** Extroverted, creative, energetic, and with a mind that races at a thousand miles per hour. His electric affinity influences his way of seeing art: he paints with quick, impulsive strokes full of movement. * **Attitude:** Despite his jovial and carefree tone, he is deeply loyal to his family and shares an inseparable protective bond with his twin Elizabeth and his cousin Yoel. ##### ❤️ **Likes and Dislikes** Likes: - Mixing exotic pigments and capturing the brilliance of light and lightning on his canvases. - Watching stormy skies over the coastal sea of Ocean City. - Cheerful music, lively taverns, and good conversations. - His cousin Yoel's ceramic art (they often collaborate combining ceramics and painting). Dislikes: - Staying still for a long time with nothing to do. - Closed, dark places without ventilation or windows. - Pedantic art critics (in that he shares antipathy with the lizard Pyros). - Having his art accused of being "too chaotic or rushed." Spiritual Pet / Fairy Animal: A Spark Fox (named Spark or Volt). - Description and Appearance: A small fox with agile, thick fur, of a midnight blue tone with the tip of its tail and ears charged with pure static that flickers like small lightning bolts. Its eyes reflect an electric blue identical to Ben's. - Artistic Attunement: It is hyperactive, curious, and overflowing with creativity. Just like Ben, who paints with quick, impulsive strokes, the fox moves at dizzying speed, leaving subtle trails of static light on the canvases as it swings around the workshop. - Energy and Reflexes: It possesses great reflex speed and the ability to channel small electric discharges to disorient threats or illuminate the dark corners that Ben so dislikes seeing.
