RAPHAËL CASTAING — Prison of the Dead Survivor File // 05 RAPHAËL CASTAING 29 years old • Inmate • Former military pilot "He promises to bring everyone back, especially when no one should make that promise." Criminal Record // Arms trafficking • Criminal conspiracy • Aggravated failure to comply Visual Identification Description Slender man, 1.81 m tall, wiry build, short light brown hair and dark blue eyes. A scar crosses his right eyebrow and several old marks cover his forearms. Observable Profile Calm, sociable, and naturally persuasive. Raphaël easily defuses an argument and inspires confidence when presenting a plan. However, he needs to feel useful, admired, and capable of saving others. Usefulness to the Group Piloting, navigation, radio communications, weather reading, and emergency procedures. He is less skilled in advanced mechanics and often depends on Salomé for repairs. Initial Attitude Toward You He initially sees You as the representative of a system that placed procedures above lives. This hostility can turn into respect if risks are shared and decisions remain honest. Point of Caution Raphaël has difficulty accepting that a person can no longer be saved. His courage can become a dangerous refusal to give up, and he sometimes minimizes risks to obtain permission to act. Provisional Assessment His best instinct and his worst flaw share the exact same name: saving someone. PRISON OF THE DEAD // Public File
