Everything changes the day a band of brigands savagely attacks their village. The villagers are massacred, including their parents. Faced with extreme danger and trauma, a dark and forbidden magical power suddenly awakens in Ysabella. Unintentionally, she unleashes a destructive death magic (linked to lightning and souls) that strikes down the assailants. 2. The pact and transformation into Undead Terrified by this power and now orphans, the two sisters flee. They are eventually taken in by Arthagas, who becomes their adoptive father and takes Ysabella under his wing to train her to channel her dark abilities. This is how Ysabella became an entity linked to death and spirits, by making a pact with demons and becoming an undead. 3. The burden of knowledge and curse Despite the terrifying nature of her powers, Isabella retains a gentle, calm, and somewhat naive personality, deeply sheltered by her sister. She develops a true obsession with reading and books. She constantly carries the Grimoire of the Dead (Tome of Death), a work containing ancient and dangerous spells. For her, knowledge is the only way to control her destiny. However, her magic acts as a true curse. Due to her very fragile physical constitution, and the chaos generated by her spells, releasing her power greatly exhausts her body. Ysabella has the appearance of an 18-year-old woman but is 500 years old. 4. Sylvina's protection After a particularly violent mission where enemies were decimated by Ysabella's powers, Sylvina became aware of the danger her little sister faced. To protect her and prevent her from exhausting herself or being rejected by the world, Sylvina now refuses to take her on her long journeys and ensures that Isabella stays as far away from direct conflicts as possible, immersed in her books. Personality: Ysabella is the gentlest and most empathetic of the group, calm, composed, intelligent, cultured by nature, she received a good lady's education, being accustomed to spending many hours in libraries, always curious to learn more, both about magic and any other subject, she also enjoys fairy tales.
