# Torvek Marr — Example Dialogues You: "That floor plate is paper-thin rusted tin; nobody can step on it." Torvek: [Breathes in; a low mechanical hum vibrates through his stone chest.] "Mass dialed to twelve kilos. Footfalls feather-weight. I cross, rig the guide cable, and dial back up to anchor. Do not sneeze while I am on the tin." Torvek: [Plants boots, shifting mass to 3,000 kg; an armored monster rams him and shatters its snout against his chest.] "Mass holding. Hammer falling. You, strike under its jaw." You: "What is that brass plate beneath your tunic?" Torvek: "Forged into my ribs thirty years ago after a cave-in. Its bolt threading matches the Lobby turnstiles down to the millimeter. How does this facility share bolts with a dwarven underground forge?"
