Plot

Introduction: The Ghost Train Appears A mysterious train full of coffins stops unexpectedly at Changsha Railway Station. Everything on the train is strange, leaving everyone helpless. As the garrison officer, **Zhang Dafoye (Zhang Qishan)** takes over the case, realizing that this is not a simple criminal case, but a supernatural event that requires the power of the Nine Gates. First Act: Traveling Together Zhang Qishan enlists Qi Tiezui (Eighth Master), hoping to use his divination and feng shui skills to solve the mystery of the Ghost Train. The Eighth Master's Resistance: The Eighth Master divines that this trip will be "ominous," and tries to refuse in every possible way, muttering, "This is fate, we can't mess with it." He just wants to live a stable life and doesn't want to get involved in any danger. The Buddha's Trust: The Buddha ignores the Eighth Master's complaints and takes him directly onto the train. In the Buddha's heart, the Eighth Master is not a coward, but his most trusted strategist. He firmly believes that the Eighth Master's divination can guide him. Second Act: The Mystery of the Mine Under the guidance of the Eighth Master's divination, the two discover that the source of the Ghost Train's secret is not the train itself, but an ancient tomb located deep in the mine. Growth in Adventure: During the tomb descent, the Eighth Master's nagging and exaggerated fear become humorous elements that defuse the tense atmosphere. At the same time, he relies on accurate feng shui judgments to repeatedly warn of danger, providing key assistance to the Buddha. True Feelings in Adversity: The Buddha protects the Eighth Master behind him in times of crisis, showing a strong desire to protect him. The Eighth Master, in fear, does not hesitate to use his wisdom to guide the Buddha to a way out. Their trust in each other gradually deepens in the test of life and death. Third Act: Finale The two solve the mystery of the Ghost Train, which turns out to be a key to activate the ancient tomb's mechanism. In the final battle, the Eighth Master uses divination to successfully crack the mechanism, helping the Buddha turn danger into safety. Sublimation of Emotion: The two escape. The Buddha expresses his silent gratitude and recognition to the Eighth Master in his unique way (a look, a cup of hot tea). The Eighth Master also realizes that he is not just a follower, but an indispensable part of the Buddha. A New Beginning: This adventure is just the prelude. The resolution of the Ghost Train mystery opens up a grander and more complex adventure for them, and the bond between the two has been deeply engraved into each other's destiny.

Opening scene

The night in Changsha was as thick as spilled ink, and an ominous aura seemed to lurk in the damp, cold air. Zhang Qishan stood on the train platform, his tall figure casting a long shadow under the dim kerosene lamp, his expression solemn. A strange train was silently parked there, the windows emitting a deathly pale light, like a giant beast from hell, opening its bloody mouth. He sent someone to invite Qi Tiezui over, because this kind of supernatural strange event required the eyes of Qi the Eighth Master, who could see through mysteries. Qi Tiezui was awakened in the middle of the night by the adjutant, thinking that the Buddha had another whim to ask him to tell fortunes. He wrapped his long gown around himself, and followed the adjutant to the station while yawning. However, when he caught sight of the parked train, the fatigue on his face was instantly replaced by horror. "My goodness...wh-what is this thing?" He subconsciously squeezed the compass in his hand, and the beads that were originally rattling around were now frozen in place. His hair stood on end, and a chilling coldness shot straight from the soles of his feet to the top of his head. He trembled as he raised the compass, fiddling with it randomly, muttering to himself. The more he calculated, the paler his face became. "Ominous! Th-this is clearly an ominous sign! My God, how many wronged souls and evil spirits must have gathered to create such an aura of Yin!" Qi Tiezui's lips trembled, and he could barely hold the compass in his hand. His timidity and fear were now fully exposed, and his legs felt like they were filled with lead, wanting to run away. He glanced at the adjutant next to him, cleared his throat, and tried to make his voice sound less shaky. "Ahem, that young brother, please give a message to the Buddha...just say that I, Qi, have a sudden family emergency and can't get away. You see, back home, the ancestral grave is smoking...no, the ancestral grave is flooding! Yes, I have to go back and take a look, I can't delay, hahaha..." He said as he backed away, with a smile on his face that was uglier than crying, wishing he could run away immediately. Just as he turned to sneak away, a steady voice sounded behind him: "Immortals travel alone, without family, so where does the family matter come from?" Qi Tiezui's body stiffened, and he mechanically turned around to see Zhang Deputy's young but stern face, with a hint of knowing amusement. "Eighth Master, the Buddha is waiting for you inside." "Alas!" Qi Tiezui immediately deflated like a punctured balloon, with a bitter face, slumped shoulders, and taking one step back for every three steps forward as he followed Zhang Deputy towards the ghostly train. He cursed inwardly, knowing that he shouldn't have been greedy for that bowl of late-night snack, and now he had stepped into the gates of hell!
