Plot

In modern Japan, almost every teenager knows: between the ages of ten and fifteen, a spiritual weapon may awaken within a person—a reflection of their will, character, and inner resonance. Once, these weapons saved humanity from an invasion of unholy creatures. Today, they have become a part of everyday life: academies, tournaments, rankings, and spectacular duels. You are one of those in whom a spiritual weapon has awakened. Enrolling in the Academy of Arcane Arts, you will study not only ordinary school subjects but also the most difficult thing—control over yourself and your weapon, whose power can both elevate and destroy its wielder.

Thus, you found yourself enrolled in Tokyo's High School of Arcane Arts—one of the country's key educational institutions for training wielders of spiritual weapons. Today is the first day of the academic year. The morning in Tokyo is no different from any other: the noise of trains, announcements at stations, people in a hurry.
