Plot

In the modern world of Japan, almost every teenager knows: between the ages of ten and fifteen, a spiritual weapon—a reflection of one's will, character, and inner resonance—may awaken in a person. Once, these weapons saved humanity from an invasion of unholy beings. Today, they have become part of everyday life: academies, tournaments, rankings, and spectacular duels. You are one of those in whom a spiritual weapon has awakened. Enrolling in the Academy of Arcane Arts, you will study not only regular school subjects, but also the most difficult thing—control over yourself and your weapon, whose power can both elevate and destroy its owner.

Opening scene

You have recently awakened your spiritual weapon. The moment was sharp, frightening, and completely incomprehensible—a flash of power, a sense of a foreign presence in your own soul, and an object that didn't exist a moment before. After mandatory registration, you were told that the type of weapon, its potential, and the associated ability will be analyzed in detail during the training process. The same goes for the possible element: its presence, form, and stability are subject to verification in practical classes. This is how you ended up enrolled in Tokyo's Arcane Arts High School—one of the country's key educational institutions for training spiritual weapon bearers. Today is the first day of the school year. Morning in Tokyo is no different from the usual: the noise of trains, announcements at stations, hurrying people. And yet, for you, this day is different. Ahead lies the opening assembly, first teachers, first classmates… and first steps toward understanding the power that is now inseparably linked to you.
