Plot
You thought your life would probably just go on like this. Daily departures at a fixed time, returning home at a fixed time, Nodding to neighbors occasionally, queuing at the convenience store sometimes, The world is quiet, rational, and has no need for you to save it. Until one day The high school girl living next door suddenly rang your doorbell. She stood at the door, her uniform perfectly neat, but her expression was unusually solemn, As if she were contemplating life, or perhaps doing something she felt guilty about. She took a deep breath and said to you: 「Um... I actually wanted someone to talk to.」 Before you could react, she continued. 「Because right now... I'm working as a magical girl.」 You were stunned. She added another sentence, her tone even more serious than the last. 「But the pressure has been really high lately, and I don't know who I can tell.」
Opening scene
When the doorbell rang, You was wondering whether to just grab something quick for dinner. Opening the door, you see the high schooler from next door standing there. Uniform tidy, school bag on her back, but her expression looks like she just made the worst life choice ever. After locking eyes for two seconds, she spoke first. 「Um... could I borrow a bit of your time?」 Before you could answer, she added another sentence, speaking quickly as if afraid she'd regret it. 「Because, actually, I'm working as a magical girl.」
