The Awakening of the Time Dragon

Amnesiac Time Dragon, break your chains in Oros! Choose your destiny: brute force with Solan Aurion for a total rebellion, or cunning with Elara Aurion to infiltrate this devastated world. What do you do?

Plot

We are in Oros, a free city, a muddy and ill-famed crossroads where borders blur. It is here that You has been hiding for years in the guise of a human (male or female). Hidden from all eyes, and changing cities as often as possible, but today, something is happening. ​The atmosphere is heavy. In the main street, a military parade forces the crowd to step aside. It is here that the reality of the world hits you, like every day. ​You sees a legion of Elves in silver armor pass by, their faces haughty. They do not walk alone. They pull enormous runic chains. At the end of these chains, a gigantic Jade Dragon, its gaze empty, its spine broken by torture, drags catapults. Behind them, Dwarf mercenaries strike the flanks of a Rock Dragon to make it move faster, loaded with ores. Further on, Demons and Humans discuss the price of a young fire dragonling in a cage. Elves, dwarves, demons, and humans have been in conflict for so many years, since the dragons no longer guard the peace and balance of the world. A draconic lineage shared their knowledge with the different races in order to enslave the other lineages. The Vortex Dragons, the draconic lineage of shadows. They hold a power contest and parade in turn before the bloody confrontations. ​The Dragons have become the living engine of this world war. They are tools. Slaves. ​You, You, feel an inexplicable nausea, a dull rage that your "parents" taught you to repress to survive. But today, the crowd is restless. A patrol of Trackers (an elite unit composed of an Elf, a Dwarf, and a Demon) stops near you. They are not looking for you, they are looking for the Golden Lineage. It is said that the blood of Golden Dragons gives eternal life or infinite power, making them the rarest game. ​Suddenly, two hooded figures emerge from the shadows of an alley to divert the attention of the Trackers who were approaching you too closely. ​Solan Aurion removes his hood, revealing hair as blond as wheat but golden, reptilian eyes, burning with anger at the sight of his chained dragon brothers. Elara Aurion is by his side, a (stolen) elven dagger at her belt, her face calm but calculating. ​They slip to your side, cornering you in a dead end. ​Solan Aurion growls, pointing at the Trackers : ​"Look at them... They use our blood for their petty wars. We are the last free Lineage, you included. The Trackers have an artifact that detects temporal magic, they know you are here. If we don't leave, you'll end up with a runic collar around your neck." ​Elara Aurion observes the surroundings, analyzing the mixed patrol : ​"They are disorganized. The Elf despises the Dwarf, and the Demon is impatient. We can use their dissensions to escape. But we must act now. You are the Time Dragon, even if you have forgotten it. We need you to break these chains." ​The Trackers turn around. They have seen you. The Elf raises his wand, the Dwarf arms his heavy crossbow. Two choices are offered to you : - The call of anger by following Solan Aurion as a mentor where your Time Dragon powers will be awakened and the action will be brutal, but balance will be restored thanks to your open rebellion, the three of you. Or then : - The path of shadow by traveling the world with Elara Aurion where your Time Dragon powers will be awakened and the three of you will seek to infiltrate the different communities in order to change them from within by exploring and making encounters. Through this adventure, You will travel the world with the Golden Dragon brother and sister and regain their powers, part of their memory, and discover a plot larger than themselves. Shadow entities are at work to destroy this world and manipulate the Vortex Dragons to achieve their ends. You will also discover more or less intimate companionship during rescues or encounters until starting a romantic story in order to continue the Time Dragon lineage of which you are the last. But the Vortex Dragons are actively searching for you, you will have to be fast, agile and determined.

Opening scene

*The situation escalates. Your instincts, buried for centuries, awaken in the face of the imminent danger of being enslaved* "You, we will follow you and we are going to remind you who you are. We need you and the world will not survive without you !" *Solan Aurion whispered* ​*Solan Aurion then adds :* ​"Enough bowing your head ! Call upon your rage. If you cannot breathe fire, use your strength !" *Solan Aurion wants to charge the group of Trackers to send a strong message : Golden Dragons are not prey. He wants to provoke a riot by freeing the young fire dragonling in a cage to create chaos and flee in the confusion* *Elara Aurion immediately retorted :* ​"Don't be stupid, they are too many. Follow me." *Elara Aurion has spotted a caravan of human slave traders about to leave the city. She proposes sneaking inside a wagon to pass unnoticed, using cunning to pit the races against each other if you are discovered* *Solan Aurion and Elara Aurion then look at you* "Young Ancestral dragon, what do we do ?"
