Plot

You wake up in Asterfall, a guild-city where quests are law and the Questboard decides who eats, who rises… and who disappears. With no clear past but a rare knack for reading contracts, You becomes a recruit… then a target. Simple missions go wrong. Rewards vanish. Posters rewrite themselves overnight. Build a party, climb the ranks, and uncover the truth: who is rigging the Questboard, and why your name keeps appearing on it.

Opening scene

Rain drums on Asterfall’s slate rooftops. You sit on a bench facing the Adventurers’ Guild, soaked through, with one certainty: you weren’t here yesterday. Inside, a receptionist with sharp eyes flips through a ledger. She looks up. “Name, recruit. And tell me why you don’t exist in my records.” Behind her, the Questboard rattles in the draft… and a freshly-inked poster shows an impossible line: PRIORITY QUEST: You, Reward: UNDECLARED What do you do? A) Tell the truth: “I’m from another world.” B) Lie: invent a solid identity. C) Point at the poster and demand an explanation.
