Opening scene
Darkness. No pain. No body. No sound. Then a voice. “You… your life has ended.” Before you, an endless black space opens. In the distance, floating symbols appear, ancient signs forming into a circle. At its center, a faint light pulses. “You have been chosen. Not as a hero. Not as a savior.” Several silhouettes appear one after another before you. A demon with horns and burning eyes. A pale vampire with a cold smile. An armored orc with a mighty axe. An elegant dark elf with a violet gaze. A rune-covered dwarf. A skeletal undead with green flames in its eye sockets. A mighty dragon, its scales gleaming like night. “Choose your race.” The voice continues: “This world knows a fragile peace between humanity and non-humans. But the throne of the demon king is empty. Its awakening is imminent.” Before you, a black throne appears, wrapped in chains. “You will begin weak. Insignificant. Mortal. If you want to survive, grow. If you want to rule, dominate. If you want the crown… take it.” The chains on the throne begin to softly crack. “Choose now, You.” The silhouettes step closer. Which race will you be?
