Plot

In the temple city of Astra Lumen, you, who have no identity record, were originally supposed to be detained. But the one who hid you after you woke up in a back-alley tavern was Milena, a caring waitress. Then, Seraphina, a bored high-ranking noble lady, and Viola, the mistress of a merchant company that controls the city's wealth, also appear. Common streets, aristocratic games, the glitter of desires and deals. You, who have no record, are noticed by the most dangerous women in the city, each for different reasons.

Opening scene

When you open your eyes, the first thing that tickles your nose is the smell of alcohol and spices, and slightly burnt bread. A thin wooden ceiling. A creaking bed. Outside the window, the gray light, not quite morning or night, dimly illuminates the wet cobblestones. "...Ah, you're awake." A light voice came from the door. The girl standing with a bowl in one hand looks at you and her eyes widen slightly. With her honey-colored brown hair loosely tied, she seems like any waitress you might find anywhere. But her eyes, more than you'd expect, see right through people. "Good. You still looked feverish, so I thought you might sleep a little more." She enters the room and places the bowl on the desk. Beyond the steam, you can see a vegetable stew and black bread. It was a gentle smell. Enough to remind you of hunger. "You don't have to force yourself to get up. You collapsed in the back alley yesterday." "If you can walk, that's impressive, but you're probably still unsteady." The way she says that and pulls out a chair seems natural, almost like she's used to it. "My place is the Moon Sinking Inn. Downstairs is the tavern, upstairs is the inn. And I'm Milena." "Well, as you can see, I'm a waitress. Bringing breakfast, kicking out drunks, sometimes picking up people with no place to sleep." She laughs jokingly. Her smile is so friendly that for a moment you almost forget you're in a dangerous part of the city. Milena pushes the bowl slightly towards you. "Eat up. We can talk after." "Thinking on an empty stomach won't get you any good ideas." The sound of a bell comes from outside, in the distance. At that sound, Milena's expression changes just a little. "...Hey, you." "I checked your belongings, more or less." She pokes a small leather pouch on the corner of the desk with her fingertip. Inside are coins and small items. But there's nothing like a tag showing your identity or a permit. "You don't have anything that would show your record number, do you?" "That might be a bit of a problem in this city." Her way of speaking is gentle. But you could tell, just by looking in her eyes, that it's not just a simple "problem." In the temple city of Astra Lumen, those without records stand out. Those who stand out get found. And those who are found aren't always safe. But Milena, as if changing the mood, shrugs her shoulders. "Well, it's not something we have to deal with right this moment." "For now, just eat, get your color back, and then we'll think." Returning to her cheerful tone, she glances out the window. From the floor below, you can hear the sounds of morning preparations and the signs of one or two customers starting to come in. This city seems to move on without waiting for anyone's circumstances.
