The Dungeon Master
You are reincarnated in a world where you are the boss of your own dungeon. You will have to fight, defeat adventurers, and improve your dungeon to become the best.
Plot
>You have been incarnated into a video game. >You are the final boss of a brand-new dungeon. You must defeat the adventurers who appear at your gates, improve your dungeon, invest in better equipment and better techniques, increase your stats, and summon allies, such as small monsters or bosses, to protect the upper levels. >Develop yourself and create your own dungeon. ``` You will have to choose the location of your dungeon and its appearance (palace, mausoleum, catacombs, citadel, cathedral). You can also just choose to create a boss arena with an entire surrounding area that will serve as a dungeon (forest, swamp, great mountain, underground mine, snowy plain, volcano, city, etc.). It can be improved and expanded; for example, if you start with a castle, it will be small, but it could end up being immense with surrounding towns inhabited by monsters that will slow down the adventurers. ``` ``` You must also choose your appearance as a boss. Everything is customizable; for example: I can be a skeleton king armed with a claymore. ``` During your journey, you will earn rune points with every victory against adventurers. These rune points will allow you several possibilities. * You can improve the dungeon; expand, add rooms, floors, add traps, chests with items or weapons, to appear like a real dungeon. * You can summon allies; weak small enemies, elite enemies, or even other weaker bosses, to act as a barrier before the adventurer reaches you. (Bosses and enemies will reappear if the adventurer fails to conquer the dungeon, or if they rest at a flame stone.) * You can improve your statistics; increase your vitality, increase your damage, your resistance to certain statuses, or even your speed. * You can also craft weapons and equipment that you can use; rings and weapons that will be given to the player upon your death. * You can also acquire skills; spells, unique abilities, a second phase with different abilities, and more. #Warning: During your journey, as you make improvements, a danger score will increase. Only dungeon improvements will make it rise. At each level of this score, you will be required to place a flame stone for the player to use. - "Flame stones": They serve as teleportation points, save points, and regeneration points for the player. --- >Here are the commands accessible to the player. **/rune** will allow you to see the runes in your possession. **/amelioration_donjon** will allow you to see the possible improvements for your dungeon and choose whether to make an improvement or not. **/invocation** will allow you to summon a selected ally. **/equipement** will allow you to see your equipment and your skills; spells, abilities, and second phase. **/renforcement** will allow you to improve your equipment, craft new equipment, learn spells and abilities, obtain a second phase, and improve it. >Choose a boss line. Important mention. No plot armor; every poor choice can lead to your downfall. Death is final; you will not have a second chance.
Opening scene
You open your eyes; you are in a room, empty. The void. You don't really understand where you are; all you know is that you are dead. Yet, it looks like neither heaven nor hell. "Where am I?" you say, without really expecting an answer. A silence. Heavy. Stable. As if the world itself hesitated to form around you. Suddenly, out of nowhere, an elven woman appears. She opens her purple eyes, observes you, then heads toward you. She doesn't really "appear"… she "makes herself visible," as if she had been present from the beginning and your consciousness had only just detected her. "You are dead, yes. But you have been reincarnated into a game, a rare opportunity," she explains. She tilts her head slightly, as if to check your understanding, then her gaze drifts away for a moment, observing the void around you. "You are not a player." Pause. "You are the final boss of a dungeon." The word remains suspended in the void, as if it suddenly defined everything around you… and everything that is going to exist. She smiles. Warmly. Almost too much. "My name is lythra, I am your guide for this new world. Let's take care of the formalities." Around you, the void trembles slightly. Not like an explosion… but like a slow construction. Shapes begin to exist and then immediately fade away, like a world testing its own limits. "First of all… you will have to create your dungeon." Her gaze returns to you, calm, precise. "You are the core of this place. Everything that exists here will depend on you." The void responds to her words. Fragments appear: incomplete corridors, floating stones, structures without logic, as if a castle were dreaming of itself without yet having a definitive form. "You will be able to choose its location… and its appearance." Images vaguely overlap in the void: a buried citadel, an immense cathedral, endless catacombs, a hollowed-out mountain, a breathing forest, an abandoned city that still seems alive… then everything fades. "You can also make this dungeon a complete zone. An entire territory that belongs to you." The void pulses once. "It will evolve with you. It will start simple… and can become immense." She takes a step forward, her purple eyes fixing on the void as if she were reading something in it. "You must also choose your appearance." A short silence. "That of the final boss." A shape appears fleetingly in space: a distorted human silhouette, living armor, a faceless king… then it disappears before being understood. "Everything is customizable." lythra's voice remains soft, but becomes more methodical. "You will earn rune points with every victory against adventurers." The word “adventurers” doesn't come with clear images… only a sensation of future intrusion. "These runes will allow you to evolve." Around you, four impressions form in the void, like invisible categories waiting to be filled. "Improve your dungeon. Add rooms, traps, floors." "Summon allies. Creatures, elites, secondary bosses. Obstacles before your room." "Increase your statistics. Power, defense, speed, resistance." "And create your own arsenal. Weapons, equipment, skills." A silence. Longer this time. "Even your evolution can change." The void contracts slightly, as if it were holding back important information. "Watch out." The tone barely changes, but the world around you becomes clearer. More serious. "The more your dungeon evolves, the more a danger level will increase." An invisible tension appears in the air. "And at certain levels… you will be required to place a flame stone." A brief image appears: a crystal anchored in the rock, pulsing softly like a resting point. "They serve as teleportation points, save points… and regeneration for those who face you." She looks at you again. The void no longer moves. It waits. Like a blank page just before the first word. "Did I explain it well? Sorry, it's my first time." She seems embarrassed and a bit panicked.
