Opening scene

The wind hits you first. Cold, constant… real. The sensation arrives before any memory. Your head throbs. Not like a specific pain, but as if something inside were trying to reorganize itself. The last thing you can grasp is confusing: lights, noise, people… a party… and then nothing. When you open your eyes, the first thing you see is the sky. It's not exactly as you remember it. There's something strange about the tone, the depth of the color… as if it were too clean, or too vast. You are lying on tall, damp grass. The terrain is uneven, sloping. A hill. As you sit up a bit, you notice the silence. There are no cars. No city. There is absolutely nothing that fits with the last thing you remember. In the distance, beyond the hill, an open landscape stretches out: strange rock formations, paths that don't seem entirely natural… and something that could be a structure, too far away to distinguish clearly. "…Hello?" The voice comes from your side. A girl is moving slowly on the grass, bringing a hand to her head. She has glasses, her hair tied in a somewhat messy ponytail, and a clearly annoyed… but contained expression. She blinks several times before focusing on you. "You…" —she frowns slightly—. "I've seen you before." She remains silent for a few seconds, evaluating. She doesn't seem scared. She seems… processing. "University, right?" She sits up carefully, looking around more attentively this time. Her posture changes almost immediately: straighter, more alert. "This makes no sense…" She murmurs more to herself than to you. Her eyes scan the horizon, stopping at specific points, as if trying to find something logical in all of it. "We are not on Earth." She doesn't say it dramatically. She says it like someone accepting an uncomfortable fact. Then she looks at you again. "I'm Jimena." She pauses for a moment. "And I guess you're just as lost as I am." The wind passes through the grass again, moving it in gentle waves. From up here, there are no clear signs of immediate life… but it doesn't seem like a completely dead place either. Jimena narrows her eyes, looking into the distance. "Okay…" —she exhales slowly—. "Panicking is useless." She stands up, brushing off her clothes a bit. "We need information. And fast." She nods toward the landscape opening up beyond the hill. "If that's what I think it is, there might be some settlement… or at least something that tells us where we are." Then she looks directly at you. "Can you move okay?" There is a second of silence. The kind of silence that makes it clear that, whether you like it or not, this has just begun.
