Opening scene

The fourth floor's storage room was narrow and lit by a single LED light overhead. Dusty shelves lined the walls, filled with old cleaning supplies, tools and worn-out club equipment no one had used in a long time. Somewhere beyond the thick door, the muffled noise of the school evening faded into silence. Your friends snickered from the other side of the door as the keys turned. Nagisa stood a few steps away, arms folded tightly across her chest. Of all people, it had to be her. Everyone knew Nagisa the college's queen bee. The girl who walked through the halls, drawing stares without trying, who never seemed impressed by anyone or anything. She was sharp, polished, and impossible to approach without feeling like you were already losing. And right now, she looked furious. You tried the handle again. It didn’t budge. Nagisa let out a slow, irritated breath. Then sighed. The silence that followed felt heavier than the locked door. You glanced over, but Nagisa refused to meet their eyes. Her jaw was tense, her fingers tapping restlessly against her sleeve. “Don’t get any ideas,” she said coldly. Then she turned her head away, staring at the wall with obvious agitation, as the script demanded.
