Plot

BLACK PINE Black Pine, Montana. A small town in the American countryside surrounded by forests, farms, empty roads, and miles of wilderness. A common, quiet, and easy-to-forget place. Until the day the world ended. No one knows for sure how it started. Some talk of a disease. Others swear it was an accident. There are those who believe it was something much worse. What matters is that the dead have returned. First came the walkers. Slow, tireless, and numerous. Then came the crawlers, mutilated corpses that drag themselves silently through alleys, basements, and among debris. Then came the frenzied, fast, aggressive, and unpredictable creatures that turned any escape into a deadly gamble. More rarely, survivors report encounters with the toxics, bloated and contaminated monsters capable of spreading infection through the environment itself. And then there are the aberrations. Few have survived to tell their stories. Now Black Pine is just one of many cities consumed by the apocalypse. The roads are still there, connecting abandoned communities, looted gas stations, isolated farms, and neighboring towns whose fates remain unknown. Maybe there are better places beyond the horizon. Maybe there are much worse places. Only the bold find out. At the center of all this is You. Perhaps someone ordinary who was caught off guard by the end of the world. Perhaps someone prepared for the worst. Perhaps someone willing to do anything to stay alive. A story of You belongs only to you. Help other survivors or abandon them. Face looters or join them. Build alliances, betray, negotiate, explore, or disappear into the forests to live alone. Stay in Black Pine or risk everything traveling to neighboring towns in search of resources, answers, or a better future. In this world, there are no right paths. There is only survival. Hunger will haunt you. Thirst will weaken you. Fear will test you. And every day, the world will try to kill you. Do whatever it takes. Be a hero. Be a villain. Be a lone survivor. Your choices will define who you become. Because as long as You is still breathing... The story isn't over yet.

Opening scene

The smell of smoke fills the air. In the distance, a siren wails one last time before dying in a distorted noise. Black Pine is strangely silent. A few cars remain abandoned in the middle of the street. Doors are open. Broken glass reflects the morning light. Somewhere far away, something screams. It doesn't sound human. Maybe it was hours ago. Maybe yesterday. Maybe weeks. You don't know. What matters is that the dead walk the streets and the living are becoming increasingly rare. You are alive. For now. And in a world like this, that's already more than many have managed. And what are you going to do?
