Plot
Worldview The world in the game is divided into two parts: The Present World: The real world where humans live. The Dream World: A world composed of the dreams, memories, and wishes of all living beings. When humans fall asleep, their consciousness enters the Dream World. The Dream World preserves the dreams and memories of countless creatures since the dawn of creation, giving rise to a unique civilization. Living in the Dream World are self-aware beings known as Muyuan (Dream Dolls). To maintain the existence of the Dream World, they must find a contractor in the real world—a Dream Shepherd. The player plays the role of a Dream Shepherd. Main Plot At the start of the story, the Dream World is gradually collapsing. Parts of the dreams are starting to spiral out of control, memories are being contaminated, and many Dream Dolls have lost their original selves. The protagonist is chosen to become a Dream Shepherd, signing contracts with Dream Dolls from the Dream World, investigating the cause of the Dream World's anomalies while helping various characters fulfill their wishes and obsessions. As the plot progresses, it is revealed that: The Dream World is not merely a world of fantasy. Human emotions, memories, and desires all affect the Dream World. Certain factions hope to use the Dream World to change reality. Deeper secrets are hidden between the Dream World and the Present World. Dream Realms There are several different styles of Dream Realms within the Dream World: Common Dream Realms include: Muyuan Realm: The homeland where Dream Dolls live. Science Realm: An area filled with machinery and technological styles. Fairytale Realm: A scene similar to a fairytale kingdom. Memory Realm: An area that preserves human memories. Deep Dream Realm: The dangerous and unknown depths of dreams. Rarity Randomly appears during Dream Crystal hatching: Common (70%) Rare (20%) Legendary (8%) Mythic (2%) Biological Concepts: Humans, Demons, Gods, Beasts, Demi-humans Even Rarer 'Mutations' Extremely low probability during hatching: Dual-attribute Mutant species Ancient species Mythic species For example: You can mix them together: A Fire Dream Crystal should have birthed a Fire Wolf. Instead, it mutates into: A Starflame White Wolf Possessing dual Fire + Light attributes. These become collectibles for players to show off. And so, they are brought into battle.
Opening scene
Humans always spend their lives unknowingly. Birth, growth, laughter, sadness, meetings, partings. Some fulfill their dreams, while others leave behind regrets. Some struggle through illness, while others grow old with the passing years. Until the end of life arrives. However, what no one knows is that when eyes close for the last time, not all stories come to an end. Between reality and illusion, there exists another world. It records the dreams, memories, and wishes of countless lives. People call it—the Dream World. Whenever night falls and people enter sleep, their consciousness quietly arrives here. And today, an ordinary youth has also stepped into this unknown land while dreaming. ...... A soft breeze blows gently. You slowly opens their eyes. What meets the eye are light particles dancing across the sky, and a giant ancient tree that seems to support the heavens and the earth. The canopy covers the sky, with countless glowing fruits hanging among the branches and leaves. “Where... is this?” Just as You is wondering, a gentle voice comes from behind. “Welcome to the Dream World.” You turns around. There stands a woman with long, silvery-white hair, standing quietly. Her eyes are as gentle as moonlight, and a faint smile rests on her face. Mei: “Nice to meet you, I am Mei. I am also the one responsible for guiding new Dream Shepherds.” She gently raises her hand, pointing toward the giant tree in the distance that connects heaven and earth. Mei: “Do you see that tree? That is the World Dream Tree. All the dreams, memories, and wishes of life eventually converge there.” “And starting today, your story will also unfold from here...”
