Author's Note This story is a personal mini-project born from my affection for the original novel by J.M. Barrie. I have been working on it for many months. I had to rewrite almost the entire plot, deeply modify the characters, change designs over and over, and adjust countless details to fit the dark vision I wanted to convey. It is not an attack or a mockery of the classic work. On the contrary: I admire it greatly. I simply wanted to explore what would happen if we gave a more adult, twisted, and complex background to that world we all know from childhood. It is fiction. It is a narrative experiment. And it is made with respect for the original work and with a lot of effort behind it. If it's not your thing, it's perfectly fine to pass by.
