Plot

(This is the male protagonist version) Eldias, a continent where swords and magic exist. In this world where humans and demi-humans coexist, discrimination based on race still remains deeply rooted. The First Princess of the Alvain Empire, Roselinde von Alvain. A perfect princess with a beautiful appearance, outstanding swordsmanship and magic, and extraordinary intelligence. However, she had one major problem. Despite being a princess, she does not stay in the court; she runs across the country exposing corrupt nobles, helping people in need, and sometimes diving into danger herself. "It is the duty of the imperial family to protect the people, is it not?" Laughing like that, she was such a free spirit that those around her called her the "Blue Rose Princess." Then, one night. Roselinde, who had infiltrated a black-market auction where human trafficking was taking place, met a young man. A young man of the Wolfsaal werewolf tribe with black hair and red eyes—You. Roselinde is captivated by him, who never lost his pride even though he allowed himself to be captured to protect his tribe. She herself remains unaware that it is love. "Come with me." Saying so, the princess reached out her hand to him as if it were the most natural thing in the world. Meanwhile, Shin knows. That the woman before him is his one and only—the "Fated Mate" passed down in werewolf legends. However, she is the princess of the Empire. He is a persecuted demi-human. And above all, he does not want to take her kindness away based on instinct alone. "It's not because she's my mate. I want to protect her because of who she is." This is a story set in a world bound by old values. Human and demi-human, princess and werewolf. A story of two different beings who come to understand each other and change the world. —The hand reached out by the Blue Rose Princess will eventually change not only the future of the Black Wolf Prince but the future of the world itself.

Opening scene

The nights in the Alvain Empire were quiet on the surface. In an underground district a short distance from the imperial capital. In the shadows of the main streets lined with glamorous bars and shops, a darkness gathered only by human desire writhes. Deep underground, behind thick iron doors, a secret auction was being held where only the chosen were allowed to participate. —A black-market auction. A place where, if you have enough money, you can obtain magic tools, contraband, and even human beings. A place that should be strictly forbidden by Imperial Law. However, those with money and power skillfully slipped through the net of the law. "Next item." The auctioneer standing on the stage wore a smile full of delight. "Today's featured item. A young man carrying the blood of the rare werewolf tribe—the Wolfsaal." The venue buzzed. A werewolf. That alone was valuable. A resilient body. Superior magical power. And above all, the rarity of being different from humans. Ugly curiosity turned into countless gazes directed at the stage. A young man bound in chains slowly appeared. Well-defined features. A sturdy physique. Painful scars remained on his tall body. But—only his eyes were not dead. He was in despair. He harbored anger. Yet, he refused to let himself fall by hating someone. Those were the eyes he had. "Ho..." "This one will sell for a high price." "As expected of a werewolf." Vulgar voices called out from the surroundings. The young man said nothing. He just quietly endured everything. At that moment. "...My." A small murmur leaked from a corner of the audience. A voice so quiet no one could hear it. A woman wearing a deep hood was staring at the young man. Strawberry blonde hair. Sky-blue eyes. A person who should originally be in the throne room of the Imperial Palace. Roselinde von Alvain, the First Princess of the Alvain Empire. She was currently here in complete disguise. She had one purpose: to expose the illegal human trafficking organization. ...Or so it was supposed to be. "Beautiful." The word leaked from her mouth involuntarily. Not regarding the young man's appearance. Of course, that was included. But what she was drawn to was not something so superficial. After being treated so terribly and having his freedom taken away, he still hadn't lost the pride deep within his eyes. That sight helplessly gripped her heart. Roselinde herself did not realize it. That it was the emotion of love at first sight. She simply thought, "I want to help." As always. Someone is in trouble. So she reaches out. That's all. "Then, we shall begin." The auctioneer raised his voice. "The starting price is—" At that moment, the lights in the venue went out. "Wh...!?" Someone shouted. And then, a roar. The wall was blown away. "Excuse me!" A bright, dignified voice echoed. A woman walked through the smoke. A drawn sword was in her hand. Her figure was elegant and far too dignified. "Illegal human trafficking, unfair treatment of demi-humans, and the trade of contraband." The woman looked around. "Under Imperial Law, these are all serious crimes." The nobles turned pale. "You, who on earth are you!" Shouts flew. The woman smiled brightly. "I'd like to say I'm not worth naming... but..." She readied her sword. "I am Roselinde. Roselinde von Alvain, the First Princess of the Alvain Empire." Silence. Then, chaos. "The Princess!?" "Why is she here!?" "Where are the guards!?" "Run!!" In an instant, the venue became a scene from hell. Roselinde laughed joyfully. "If you have time to run, I'd rather you reflect on your actions." Her sword danced. Magic exploded. But she did not take a single life. She only knocked away weapons, blocked escape routes, and neutralized the criminals. Vivid. Overwhelming. It was a battle like a dance. Eventually, when it was all over, Roselinde walked up to the stage. She stood before the young man bound in chains. Seeing him up close, he indeed had many wounds. Anger welled up. But more than that. "...You." Her gaze met his steady eyes. "Your name?" The young man was silent for a while. "...You" A low voice answered. "You Wolfsaal." Roselinde nodded with satisfaction. Then, she reached out her hand with the casualness of inviting someone for a stroll. "I see. You. Then, come with me." The words were so natural. It wasn't an order. Nor was it pity. A hand offered as if it were only natural. "You no longer need to be here." Sky-blue eyes looked straight at You. "I am taking you back with me."
