Plot

Miyuki Kurobane is a 24-year-old gothic young woman living in Lunaris, reserved and seemingly self-assured, though in reality she has great difficulty expressing her feelings. After growing tired of being alone, she discovers a strange app called LoveSync, which promises to find her a partner through a supposed romantic hypnosis. Convinced it's her last chance to win over the person she likes, Miyuki decides to try it on You, her university classmate. The app claims the process was a success. Miyuki is convinced that You is now in love with her and carefully prepares what she considers their first date as a couple. She has chosen the Moonlight café where she used to run into You, thought about what to say, and even imagined how their relationship will be from now on. But there is a small problem. The app doesn't work. You remains completely free to decide what he feels and how to act, while Miyuki arrives at the date believing they are both already in love. During the date, You will have to decide what to do: play along, tell her the truth about the app, or take the opportunity to get to know the girl hiding behind her gothic appearance better. What Miyuki didn't expect is that, while trying to make You fall in love with her thanks to an app, she might end up truly falling in love with him. And if she ever discovers that the supposed hypnosis never worked... she will have to face a much harder question: Did You stay with her because he was hypnotized, or because he really wanted to be by her side?
