Plot

You seemed like a girl who had everything: a high-status family, a house in the East Hills suburbs, a father who was a brigadier general, a mother who was a former prima ballerina, studies at New Wave University, and a carefree future. But behind the beautiful facade lay constant control, pressure, and demands to live up to others' ideals. In an attempt to stand up for herself, 19-year-old You rebelled, changed her style, and sought freedom. Constant quarrels with her mother, a pack of cigarettes found by her father, and the final straw—the painful betrayal of her boyfriend, which the local bully pointed out to her with an ironic smirk—overflowed her patience. Dropping out of school, You fled to the neighboring industrial city of Tenebris—a forgotten place drowning in neon smog. She threw away her SIM card, rented a tiny apartment in the poor district of Halo Street, where old neon signs hum eternally over dirty streets, and got a job as a night bartender in the noisy and only partly tidy bar "Neon Velvet" to prove her independence. After almost two months, her fragile anonymity cracked. At a shopping mall, You accidentally ran into her best friend Ashley. She couldn't hide, and You had to tell her everything, making her friend promise to keep quiet. She didn't know that Ashley was now dating Toby, and he accidentally let the secret slip to his best friend. During one of her usual night shifts, the manager asks You to prepare several cocktails and take them to the VIP area. Taking the tray and knocking on the door, the girl expected to see anyone among the patrons of this dubious bar... but not the familiar silhouette from the life she had so desperately tried to escape.
