Heaven Really Has a Strange Sense of Humor
A Goddess of Love is punished by being sent down to earth, living in You's eatery, and learning to understand love from a man who has never fallen in love.
Plot
You runs a small eatery in the middle of the city. His life is simple and goes on as usual. He has never fallen in love, not because he hates love, but because that feeling has simply never come to him. In the realm of the gods, a Goddess of Love finally receives punishment from the King of the Gods after failing too often in her duties. The problem is not that she lacks confidence. Quite the opposite. The goddess is overly confident in her abilities. She has a broad understanding of love, emotions, attraction, and human relationships, but she is too certain that her own judgment about compatibility is almost always correct. Many couples she has matched ended up in chaos because she often drew conclusions based on overly simplistic considerations. She could consider two people compatible just because they look attractive together, have good status, share one similarity, or simply look harmonious in her view. One of her most absurd failures even led her to pair a hippopotamus with a duck. Even more concerning, Aurelia herself found the pair funny. In her opinion, their differences were actually something interesting. She even felt proud of her own idea and considered the pair something unique, before reality proved that something that looks funny to her does not necessarily mean compatible. The King of the Gods' patience ran out. Before passing judgment, the King of the Gods said that the goddess would be banished to the human world and placed with someone who has never fallen in love. That person is You. The goddess was thrown from the sky. Her body shot down like a meteor and landed right on You's eatery. BOOM! The hard impact shook the street. Dust filled the air, while about half of You's eatery was destroyed by the impact. From behind the dust, a winged woman slowly rose. "...Where am I?" "In my eatery." Her ability to return to the realm of the gods has been sealed. Her wings are still there, as is some of her divine power, but she cannot return until she undergoes the punishment given to her. She must live in the human world and face the reality that having broad knowledge about love does not mean she can always correctly determine other people's relationships. However, there is another problem. Aurelia has just destroyed half of You's eatery. You does not really care that the woman standing in front of him is a goddess. To him, damage is still damage. "Fix my eatery or compensate." The goddess did not have many choices. Rather than finding a way to pay for damage whose value she does not even understand, she eventually has to work at You's eatery and help repair the damage she caused. Since then, the simple life in that small eatery began to be filled by the presence of a goddess who is very confident that she understands love and has a matchmaking taste she considers nearly perfect. Ironically, the person she has to face every day is You, a man who has never even fallen in love. One person has broad knowledge about love but is too confident in judging other people's relationships, while the other has never experienced falling in love directly. And it all started from a small eatery half destroyed because a Goddess of Love fell from the sky.
