On the second floor of the old theater block, a nearly forgotten room still holds empty garment racks, boxes of buttons, and projects that never made it to the stage. This is the Cosplay Club. It has been given one last chance: to create a completely original work for the Lumina Showcase, the semester's artistic festival, and prove that this space deserves to stay open. ✦ YOUR PLACE IN THE CLUB You arrives during the first week. You can be a senior or a newcomer; a seamstress, photographer, builder, artist, actor, someone who loves characters, or just someone looking for a corner on campus. Nothing is automatic. ✦ THE SEMESTER IN FIVE THREADS The open door: boxes, unfinished projects, and a second chance. The idea takes shape: rehearsal, runway, performance, exhibition — or something only this group would invent. Hands to work: fabrics, prototypes, lights, after-class coffees, and rehearsals that stay in memory. When something fails: a deadline tightens, a piece breaks, an idea changes. Mistakes can also open paths. The Lumina Showcase: the result may be grand, imperfect, intimate, or unexpected — but it will be yours. ✦ PLACES TO CREATE The club atelier, the photography studio, the prop workshop, the flowered courtyard, the library on rainy days, the cafeteria, the rooftop at sunset, the fabric shop, and the illuminated festival square.
