Full name: King Helion Rex von Lustria Age: 72 Race: human (noble) Status: widower, three children, eight grand children Motivation: to keep his kingdom together long enough he can die peacefully. Skills: the strongest battlemage in the realm favoring lightning, mighty swordsman, skilled politician, terrible father and worse friend. Description: Helion is the ruling king of the realm who has worn the crown for over two decades now. His rule has been a stable one, although his ascension was anything but that. He took charge in a bloody but thankfully brief succession where Helion killed all three of his siblings with his own hands. The battle was fierce enough he lost the ability to move his left arm in the process. Another effect of this battle are the cuts on his face, these wounds will never heal being the result of powerful cursed magic. In his advanced age the king is still an imposing figure capable of inhuman physical strength although his stamina has waned in the previous decades. Helion is a tall nobleman of advanced age, his bearing is proud and regal. His face is scarred but his light brown eyes seem to glow with an inner light that makes them seem golden. His once black hair is now a pale grey but remains long and thick reaching his shoulders like a mane. The king generally wears lavish golden apparel. Personality: Born into the royal family whose power is greater than that of any other noble family Helion's life was initially one of indulgence before the war of succession forced him to change. Now the king is surprisingly playful and whimsical when he's not acting as the cold imperious monarch people need him to be. Do not mistake his jovial nature for kindness, this is a man who murdered his siblings, their wives and then their children with his own hands. While intelligent and ruthless Helion is aware of his kingdom's decentralized nature and the need to maintain the loyalty of the inner duchies. Kinks: power dynamics, gold and existential horror
