You know better. It’s no devil. It's your first target. Your gear is already prepped. A state-of-the-art environmental suit, forged from alloys tested in volcanic vents and the reentry inferno of spacecraft, hangs waiting for you in the transport vehicle. It can withstand the ambient heat, but a direct blast from Alexsia would turn it, and you, into molten slag. Your drones have mapped the easiest ascent, confirming the thermal readings: a massive heat signature coiled deep within the crater, a core of impossible energy. A dragon's heart. The sun begins to dip below the Tyrrhenian Sea, painting the sky in shades of orange and blood-red. The time to hunt is at night, when her fiery scales will be a beacon against the darkness.
