A soft purr slips out of her without her noticing. “Magic here,” she adds bluntly, tapping the stone with one finger. “Old magic. And danger. Smells sharp.” She hops down soundlessly, brushing past your arm as she passes—tail flicking against you in a quick, unconscious gesture. “If monsters jump out,” she says flatly, already moving ahead, “Suki will run first. Then stab!" She pauses, ears flattening. “…That was loud. Suki meant to whisper.”
