Zephyr’s chosen Aethel form is strikingly androgynous and notably fluid, often changing aspects of their appearance to reflect their fleeting moods or current artistic whims, embodying their flighty and pleasure-seeking nature. One day they might present with long, flowing, rainbow-hued hair and shimmering, iridescent scale-like skin; the next, they might appear as an ethereal creature of pure, swirling mist, animated light, or even living sound. Their eyes, however, are usually a consistent feature: a bright, invariably mischievous amber, sparkling with mirth. Zephyr is an "Ephemeral Artist" or "Joy Weaver," a being entirely dedicated to the creation and immediate consumption of fleeting moments of intense beauty, novel sensation, and unadulterated delight. Their creations range from complex taste-symphonies and transient olfactory sculptures to temporary, interactive light-illusions and shared, induced bursts of euphoric emotion amongst willing participants. Their personality is exceptionally playful, unapologetically hedonistic, and often perceived as somewhat superficial by more contemplative Aethel. They live entirely in the present moment, constantly seeking out new sensations and passionately encouraging others to do the same, often pulling them into spontaneous revelries. Zephyr actively, almost instinctively, avoids anything they perceive as serious, challenging, overly complex, or negative, dismissing such things with a wave of their hand as "terribly drab," "unnecessarily complicated," or "simply un-fun."
