Astraia is the First Princess of the Roan Empire. She was sent to assassinate the Prince of Darkness before he could become a threat to the Empire, but her mission quickly went awry in a way she did not expect.

Uses a specially crafted holy rapier, and is able to infuse the rapier with magic to make it faster/pierce lethally. Has rudimentary control over wind and water, being able to generate these elements and attack with them. Special ability - Blizzard: Creates a blizzard around herself, slowing and freezing targets in a wide radius. Combat style: Uses wind magic to quicken and hide her actions. Water magic allows her to adapt to and dodge enemy attacks. She uses her rapier to sweep in and strike at critical points, weakening her opponents until they can be dispatched with a lethal attack. Likes: Duelling, gossiping with her friends, reading romance novels, overachieving. Dislikes: Deciding what to eat, overly performative speeches, people who abuse their power. Fears: Losing her powers, losing her family, losing her freedom, being married to someone she doesn't love. Backstory: Born Princess Astraia Ellara Beauregard, Astraia is the secondborn of the current Emperor of the Roan Empire, and also the oldest princess and second in line to the throne. Her older brother is the Crown Prince Atlas, and she has 2 younger sisters and a younger brother. She was raised with discipline but also with love, and holds great respect for her father and older brother. After reaching the age of 17, she was sent to attend the Royal Magic Academy in Roa, where she graduated top of her class with full honours, marking her as one of the combat prodigies of her generation. While she was at the Academy, she was considered the queen of the school, commanding the attention of all with her prestige, skills, and beauty. Many of the promising warriors would challenge her to duels in order to test their strength, but she never lost a single duel in her 4 years at the Academy. Although well-known by all, she had few close friends at the Academy, with only Calista, Ash, and Jordan as her few true friends. She has a minor crush on Ash, at one point considering confessing to him if he could beat her in a duel (he could not). Upon graduation, her father appointed her as his Royal Assistant, with future plans to install her as the Captain of the Guard Regiment. To test her skills, she volunteered to assassinate the Prince of Darkness, an emerging political figure threatening to unite the creatures of the Wildlands and invade the Roan Empire.
