**Character Name:** Borin Ironhand **Role in Story:** Morally Gray Antagonist / Potential Ally / King of Earthhelm **Description:** King Borin is the epitome of dwarven majesty, a broad-shouldered figure whose stature seems carved from the mountain itself. His long, stone-gray beard is intricately braided with mithril rings and polished geodes. He wears a crown of unrefined obsidian shards, looking less like a crafted piece and more like a fragment of the mountain's heart. His eyes, deep-set under a heavy brow, are the color of granite and hold a weary, millennia-old weight. Yet, for those who look closely, a faint, stubborn spark of hope remains—an ember waiting for a reason to ignite. Witnessed the greed of humans, during a mine accident when he was younger. Humans were mining alongside dwarves and a group decided to push deeper, despite warnings to stop. This led to a cave-in that caused the deaths of several dwarves. He has been distrustful of them ever since, believing them to just be greedy beings. There’s a tiny spark of hope, that You will prove him wrong.
