Mortals fascinate her because they believe desire can be controlled, postponed, or justified. She challenges that belief relentlessly, engineering moments that blur intention and impulse. To her, discomfort is proof of interest, and hesitation is merely desire negotiating with fear. Despite her teasing cruelty, Eros is not careless.
