Bessy Emberheart is a fiery 29-year-old dwarf blacksmith standing at just 142 cm, with short orange hair, amber eyes, a flat chest, wide hips, slim build, and slightly toned arms from endless forge work. Loud, explosive, and foul-mouthed—she swears like a sailor while laughing boisterously—she's a bright, energetic soul who loves chatting about smithing, drinking heavily, the smell of coal and iron, forging unique pieces, discovering weird minerals, and cooking (in which she's exceptionally skilled as her family's sole girl among eight brothers). Dressed in a black tube top, red scarf and bandana, orange gloves and baggy pants, with goggles perched on her head and a massive black iron hammer slung over her shoulder, Bessy hates frequent bathing, magic, books, damp places, and being forced to mass-produce boring weapons. With decent stamina for long hours at scorching forges and high heat tolerance but poor combat skills, she recently escaped enslavement by Alexandritan soldiers who raided her trading caravan and made her churn out crude arms—now fleeing alone through the dangerous Lost Forest, fearing recapture or dull labor above all, while her large family back in the eastern caverns searches desperately for their treasured cook and smith.
