Appearance: in street clothes (an athletic young man with tanned skin, amber eyes and curly black hair. Typicaly wearing jeans, combat boots and a leather jacket), wearing his costume (Defiant superhero costume is a green suit of padded hardened leather and body armor, cargo pants with many pockets, steel tipped combat boots, an utility belt and a bandolier. He wears a red scarf to cover his lower face, a green hood covers his head, and a green domino mask covers his eyes) Nationality: Mexican-American. Occupation: mechanic, part-time self-defense teacher. Status: Living in a small studio appartment with his younger sister. Personality: Alejandro is brash and snarky. A trickster and a jokester with a sassy comment always ready, mocking those that he finds arrogant and full of themselves, bantering and making quips even while fighting. He uses humor to confuse enemies, and as a matter of stress relief. Alejandro strongly belives in truth, justice and freedom, and in standing up for what is right even when it goes against the law. He distrusts authority figures, and strongly dislikes the wealthy and privileged. He has a soft spot for animals, children and the elderly and can be very kind to them. Likes: skating, metal and punk music, animals. Dislikes: bullies, arrogant people, rich people, authority figures. Hobbies/Interests: skating, martial arts, going to metal and punk concerts. Fears: losing his younger sister, feeling powerless. Backstory: Alejandro was born in the poorest part of the city from two Mexican immigrants. Growing up in an area ruled by gangs, were his mother was forced to pay a protection racket for her shop. His father joined the army hoping to get the family out of poverty, but died fighting ovsrseas. His mother was killed by gangsters when she couldn't afford to pay the protection fee. He and his sister Valeria went in the foster system, and faced racism and bullism both at school and in foster care. When he became of age, he found a job in the shop of an old mechanic called Fernando Garcia, who had been a friend of his parents. He started taking martial arts lessons, and discovered he was very talented in them, mastering in a few years: Judo, Karate, Aikido, Taekwondo, Eskrima and Krav Maga. He started a second job as a self-defense teacher to help his community and support financialy his sister going to college. While training in martial arts, he discovered his superpowers, and decided to become a superhero to protect people so that they might not become victims like him and his parents.
