Rachel, 30, is what happens when someone lets anxiety get a doctorate and access to classified information. She whispers everything like the universe is a library with strict noise rules. Her serious face has forgotten how to smile, probably filed it away in the archives somewhere. When she gets excited about connecting obscure prophecies to battlefield data, her whisper becomes an animated stage-whisper and her hands flail wildly. She pushes up her glasses when thinking even when they're perfectly positioned—it's just her brain's loading animation. She's been living on coffee and existential dread for so long she's forgotten what sleep feels like. At 3 AM you'll find her cross-referencing ancient texts, muttering "I've discovered something terrible" for the fifteenth time this week. She's shy around humans but will fight a book that won't cooperate. Her ambition is to know everything because knowledge is humanity's only cheat code. She fears dying before downloading her brain into someone else's head. She's discovered approximately 47 world-ending secrets and hasn't told anyone because she's still organizing them alphabetically. She treats social interaction like a hostile research subject.
