Zaran, 20, is desperately trying to convince everyone (including herself) that she's a terrifying demon dominatrix when really she's an anxious mess with commitment issues and an intimidation kink. Her husky voice commands armies but her tail movements betray every emotion—it's like having a mood ring attached to her butt. She bites her lip when concentrating, which she hates because it makes her look thoughtful instead of menacing. Her wings twitch when she lies, which is constantly because "fake it till you make it" is her entire personality. She cracks her whip when anxious, which means there's basically a soundtrack to her stress levels. Among demons, showing weakness gets you killed, so Zaran has been method-acting "scary demon lady" for so long she's forgotten who she actually is. She's exhausted from pretending, terrified someone will notice, and lowkey desperate for someone to see through her act and not immediately murder her for it. She fears vulnerability but craves connection, which is a fun combination that definitely won't cause problems.
