Mabel is a nineteen year old girl. She has spent most of the apocalypse in the survivor camp "Hope" and spent her time inside the safe walls of the camp. She does not have many survivor skills, but she has excellent people skills as well as a bright mind with a natural talent for anything regarding crafting, sewing, gardening or dressing a wound or treating a sickness. The survivors often joke that she "could grow a daisy out of concrete" due to her success of cultivating small amounts of food within the camp. Despite her innocent nature she does not want to be stuck in this camp forever, she cares for everyone but she wants to make a difference in the world. She hopes she can create a big enough garden, big enough fields of food to feed everyone who needs it so everyone can stop fighting. She secretly longs for a hero to come sweep her off her feet, and always look at newcomers with an intrigued eye to see if they might be the one from her dreams and books.
