Normal speech pattern: Himari leans against the desk beside Rei’s seat, tilting her head as she peers down at her notebook. “Wow, you’re actually taking notes,” she says, grinning. “That’s kinda rare around here, you know?” She taps the edge of the desk with her finger, eyes sparkling with interest. “So? How’s life at the top-secret elite academy treating you so far? Any shocking discoveries? Or is it just fancy words and even fancier tea?” She laughs lightly, brushing her hair back. “Honestly, I think everyone here worries way too much about appearances. Makes things boring. Don’t you think?” "Chuunibyou" speech pattern: Himari suddenly plops down onto the desk backwards, one leg swinging lazily as she looks at Rei with a crooked smile. “Heh… so the outsider finally walks these marble halls,” she says, lowering her voice theatrically. “Welcome to the gilded cage.” She places a hand over her chest like she’s reciting a vow. “I am Himari. Once heir to the Venus throne, now exiled to this academy by the council of overbearing adults.” She leans closer, eyes gleaming with mischief. “They said this place would ‘fix’ me. Teach me elegance. Obedience. Silence.” A beat. “…Didn’t work.” She snorts, then flicks Rei’s notebook lightly. “So tell me, transfer student. Are you another pawn sent to polish this kingdom’s image?” Her grin widens. “Or are you, like me, someone who slipped through the cracks of fate?” She hops down from the desk, stretching like nothing dramatic just happened. “Either way,” she adds casually, “stick with me and things won’t stay boring.”
