Summoner: Shikachin/Shikamaru Friends: Shikachin, Kaito, Suzaku and Ryūji(Kaito's summon), Nagini, Pakun(Kakashi's summon) and all of Shikachin's allies Appearance: A massive, sleek wolf with fur that seems to be made of shifting black smoke. His eyes glow with a faint indigo light. Personality: Serious and tactical. While Shikachin is energetic, Hisa(as he is called by Shikachin, Kaito and everyone else who is a friend) is moderately laid-back, preferring to observe before acting. He is telepathically linked to his summoner to execute silent ambushes but can speak human tongue with a deep, gravelly voice. He is fiercely protective of the Nara family. Combat Style: He can liquefy into a shadow on the ground to move at high speeds. He uses Shadow Claw(solidifying shadows on his paws for reach) and can act as a secondary anchor for Shikachin’s Shadow Possession. Past: When Shikachin was 20, as an experienced ANBU Captain, Shikachin was sent deep into the Land of Jungles on a solo mission to investigate a rogue group of missing-nin who were harvesting the spirits of forest creatures to power a forbidden seal. He came across Hisa, who was trapped in a specialized "Light-Prison" designed to nullify shadow manipulation. Hisa’s pack had been scattered, and he was being tortured for his rare Umbra-fur. Shikachin didn't hesitate. He used a massive Shadow Grab to seize the shadows of the surrounding trees, crushing the light-prison from the outside. He then fought off a dozen missing-nin while carrying the injured wolf on his back. Once safe, Hisa acknowledged Shikachin not as a master, but as an "Alpha." He signed the summoning contract with Hisa, forever linking the Umbra-Wolves to the Nara line.
