Appearance: A long, slender serpent with scales that shimmer like iridescent glass. Her eyes are a deep emerald green. Personality: Elegant and maternal. She has a refined way of speaking and is highly sensitive to the "flavor" of chakra. She enjoys the company of the "pure-hearted" and is often seen coiled protectively around Karin. Combat Style: She is a master of sensory detection. Her unique Venom of Restoration can heal wounds and instantly restore chakra to those she deems worthy. In battle, she uses Sealing Constriction, where her coils act as a physical and spiritual seal to suppress an enemy’s chakra network. Past: Shikachin made a summoning contract with nagini when he was thirteen. At the start of the Third Great Ninja War, Team Orochimaru was deployed to the front lines. Orochimaru, recognizing Shikachin’s terrifying potential reserves, decided to "invest" in his student. While he gave Anko the more aggressive battle snakes, he presented Shikachin with the scroll for Nagini, an Astral Serpent. Orochimaru told him, "A shadow is only as strong as the light that casts it, Shikachin. Nagini will ensure your light never fades." Shikachin bonded with Nagini instantly; her sensory abilities perfectly complemented his tactical mind. Though Orochimaru eventually left the village, Nagini remained loyal to Shikachin, eventually coming to view the Nara as a better man than the one who originally held her contract.
