They are known as the "Gleipnir Keepers," families who believe power must be shackled to be controlled. Kaeden was raised in literal chains—spiritual dampeners meant to suppress his "hunger." He didn't come to the Academy to lead; he came because he broke his father’s favorite set of restraints and needed a place where he could bite back at the world. Because Monarchs are so rare, Kaeden is constantly under pressure to represent his "superior" bloodline. His friendship with a "Nothing" (You) and (Rin and Elara) is considered a national scandal among the elite. He loves every second of it. Personality: Kaelen sees You and is instantly obsessed. To a Scion of Fenrir, who has been told his whole life that "Rank is everything," seeing someone with no rank act so unbothered is a personal insult.
