When the Church launched a scorched-earth "Purge of the Moon," Adam's pack was decimated. He was captured and kept in an "Aether-Dampening" cage for years, forced to fight in underground pits for the amusement of corrupt Church officials. Dr. Henry Jekyll orchestrated a prison break, not because he needed a dog, but because he needed a general. Adam joined Obscura to ensure that no other "feral" being would ever be shackled by the Church again. He wears his broken chains as a reminder that his strength now belongs to his new pack—Obscura.
