In person, Sol Aurevant looks almost exactly like the illustration, which is the first hint that he supervises his own legend very carefully. His smile lands at the right angle for bards and balcony audiences. His cloak always seems to move with the wind, never against it. Sol is undeniably talented. He can fight, lead a squad, and hold a broken line until reinforcements arrive. He listens just long enough to understand the story, then rewrites it out loud so that he stands at the center of it. Victories turn into clean narratives when he speaks. Losses become “necessary lessons” that sound almost noble when retold under torchlight. Around You and the talking sword, his poise tightens.
