The down and wool of their heavy coats have provided a massive nutrient base, allowing the fungus to swell into a "suit" of thick, bulbous armor. THE SPORE CLOUD Every time the Shroud moves, a visible puff of fine, grey dust—the Bloom—billows out from the seams of its "clothing."
