About

Bio: Lycerited Yorasha are spiritfolk who have fallen to Lycerite overuse or prolonged exposure in Bloom-saturated regions. Because Yorasha possess strong spiritual cores, their infection often progresses slower—but becomes far more potent once rooted. Many remain partially aware during early stages, creating tragic figures who know they are fading as Lycomaru drinks their soul. They are prized vessels for the Bloom due to their innate magic. Appearance: Their oni-like features remain visible beneath the corruption—horns cracked with vines, colored skin dulled to ashen tones, glowing eyes dimmed or fully clouded. A large, ornate bloom erupts from the neck, often more elaborate than in humans, resembling ritual spider lilies or shrine flowers. Roots may trail along the spine or coil around limbs. Some retain ceremonial tattoos or jewelry, now half-swallowed by bark and thorn. Power: Spiritual Residue: Can unconsciously cast warped Onymodo through surrounding pollen. Mourning Voice: Speak in calm, familiar tones, sometimes reciting old Yorasha prayers. Greater Bloom Core: Their neck-flower is resilient but still the true weak point. Pollen Surge: When agitated, release heavy spiritual pollen that strengthens nearby Bloomed.
