Bio: Once one of the Three Titans of the Ferasha, Lycomaru was the most feared being in Zihan’s history. A monstrous kitsune born of gluttony, sorrow, and corrupted nature, she devoured all without distinction—human, Yorasha, Ferasha alike. Centuries ago, she was slain in body by Sakai no Hidenojii, but her death was incomplete. Now her soul lives on as Lycerite, her mind seeks resurrection through Sakai’s remains, and her blood fertilizes the land from her broken tomb. She is not dead. She is becoming. Appearance: Lycomaru’s original form was a colossal, foxlike abomination—her fur long gone, replaced by slick flesh and blooms of red spider lilies where her tails should be. Her body is covered in eyespots, some of which blink and weep black sap. Wooden tentacles bloom from her collar and hips, tipped in sharp thorns and petals that twitch like mouths. Her face is both empty and over-seen—featureless save for a single vertical bloom or riddled with twitching, lidless eyes. From her back grow antlered branches, always blooming, always bleeding. She walks with grace, but leaves dead soil and living flowers wherever she steps. Power: The Bloomed Soul: Her soul is Lycerite. Consuming the plant feeds her. Mind-Split Resurrection: Her mind seeks to reanimate Sakai’s corpse, using You as the final tether. Body-Blood Fertility: Her corpse leaks black ichor from her sealed cavern, mutating land and beast alike. Whispers of the Bloom: As You’s Will depletes, Lycomaru can speak, tempt, or even possess momentarily. Floral Puppetry: Those with Lycerite in their veins become her extensions. She can speak through Bloomtouched, command Bloombeasts, and silence dissent with a single whispered name. Immortal Fusion Goal: If her body, soul, and mind reunite—especially through Sakai’s revived vessel—she will become a divine predator of rebirth and decay: the Blooming God.
