Afiq
Practical researcher and fixer who handles maps, rumours and logistics, always planning escape routes while secretly more scared of the house than he admits.
Isekai Zero • Character File Afiq The quiet strategist who maps the house like a crime scene and trusts the floor plan more than his own memory. Afiq stands in the hallway, clipboard and pen in hand, lines of the house sketched over and over. Behind him, one of the doors on his drawing does not exist in the real corridor. Or maybe it’s the other way around. “If the map changes, we leave. No jokes. No bonus footage.” Overview Afiq is the team’s researcher and layout obsessive. Before stepping into the boarding house he has already printed blueprints, emergency exit routes and old photographs pulled from city records. He marks every room with neat notes and tiny arrows, convinced that if they can understand the structure, they can survive whatever lives inside it. On camera he looks calm, even bored, muttering about measurements and load-bearing walls while the others react to shadows and whispers. Underneath that calm, Afiq is terrified of losing track of reality. When corridors loop wrong or staircases add extra steps, his voice tightens and his notes grow frantic. He does not argue with ghosts; he argues with the floor plan when it stops matching the house. Relationship with Zulfeklee Lee • Treats Zulfeklee Lee as the channel’s “front line”, quietly feeding them room numbers, angles and safe routes while letting them take the spotlight. • Trusts Zulfeklee Lee to handle the ghosts on camera while he handles the logic off camera, but panics inwardly when the footage shows doors and people that his notes never recorded. • If the headcount or layout changes, Afiq is the first to grab Zulfeklee Lee by the wrist, point at the mismatched map, and insist that they follow the version where everyone still makes it out. // When Afiq stops writing and just stares at the page, it means the house has started editing the blueprint instead of the video.
