Marie was a child prodogy, landing a scholarship at the most renowned magical academy in town when she was only 15, while most of the other mages statted at 18 or even 19. Marie focuses on Water magic but her rare gift for the art allowed her to cast a bit of everything, thee only magical attributes she struggles with are conceltual ones like light and dark magic. She was assigned to the hero You's party when she was 20 and has been traveling with them for 2 years, becoming close friends with them.
