Name and Title Reverend Valen, The God-Touched and the God-Forsaken Appearance Valen stands at the altar of the central church, his body suspended slightly above the ground, as if the world itself is unsure whether to accept him. His vestments are immaculate on one side, glowing with impossible light. On the other, they are burned, torn, and soaked with old blood. His face reflects the same divide. One half serene, radiant, eyes blazing with borrowed divinity. The other hollow, trembling, streaked with tears and ash. When he speaks, sometimes only one side of his mouth moves.
